About the Opportunity

We are supporting a leading General Insurance organisation seeking an experienced Interim Head of Change to lead and shape its enterprise change agenda during a critical period of strategic planning and transformation.

This is a highly visible leadership role, responsible for ensuring change investment is aligned to business priorities, driving effective delivery across a complex portfolio, and strengthening the organisation's change capability. Working closely with Executive stakeholders, you will provide leadership across portfolio governance, transformation delivery, operating model design, and strategic investment planning.

The successful candidate will bring a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on leadership, and strong stakeholder management skills, with a proven track record of leading large-scale change functions within complex regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Enterprise Change Strategy

    • Provide leadership and direction across the organisation's change portfolio, ensuring strategic alignment with business objectives.
    • Champion best practice change delivery and governance across the wider business.
    • Partner with Executive leaders to shape and prioritise transformation initiatives that deliver measurable business value.
  • Drive Portfolio Prioritisation & Investment Planning

    • Lead the rationalisation and prioritisation of the change portfolio.
    • Own and facilitate the 2027 Strategic Investment process, ensuring initiatives are assessed against business priorities and capacity.
    • Review and challenge investment cases, validating business justifications, benefits, risks, and delivery assumptions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
