Role Overview

You'll help ensure accurate calculations and compliance while supporting the organisation's accounting and finance functions.

Client Details

This organisation operates in the not-for-profit sector and is based in Manchester.

Description

  • Own and lead the Group's strategy, ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements while supporting the organisation's financial sustainability and growth ambitions.
  • Lead the transformation of the finance function, delivering modern, efficient and resident-focused services that maximise appropriate income recovery, improve financial performance and balance affordability considerations.
  • Drive continuous improvement across operating models, systems, processes and data, enhancing service quality, operational efficiency, governance and the resident experience.
  • Lead and develop high-performing teams while fostering strong partnerships across Finance, Operations, Technology and Resident Services to deliver excellent outcomes for residents and the organisation.
  • Providing advice to the Executive Team, Board and senior stakeholders on regulatory change, emerging risks, policy developments and sector best practice.
  • Ensure a robust control framework is in place, maintaining strong governance, effective risk management, financial integrity, audit assurance and compliance with internal and external requirements.

Profile

A successful Interim Head Of Finance should have:

  • Significant senior leadership experience in Finance management within a complex and regulated organisation.
  • Proven track record of developing and delivering strategy, transformation and service improvement programmes.
  • Experience of leading high-performing teams through change, embedding accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Essential the candidates have previous strong experience within the Housing sector.

Job Offer

  • Daily rate between £600 and £700, dependent on the level of experience.
  • Temporary contract with a competitive day rate.
  • Hybrid working in Manchester
