Interim Head of Finance/Finance Director – Property Development
Location: Cornwall (Hybrid Working)
Rate: £550 per day + Accommodation costs
Contract: Interim (3 month rolling contract), Potential Temp to Perm
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Interim Head of Finance/Finance Director to join a growing residential development business at a pivotal stage in its evolution.
Operating within a well-funded environment and backed by a long-term shareholder, the business has ambitious growth plans, with housing delivery set to increase significantly over the next five years.
As part of this journey, the organisation is seeking a commercially minded finance leader to work closely with the senior leadership team, helping to shape the future direction of the business.

This is a broad role combining financial leadership, strategic planning and commercial support.
The successful candidate will provide robust financial leadership across forecasting, cash flow management, business planning, governance and performance reporting, while helping to embed scalable processes and systems capable of supporting a rapidly expanding operation. You will also provide support across funding arrangements to support the company's growth ambitions, including engagement with external funding partners, joint venture stakeholders and public sector organisations.

We are seeking a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with experience gained within housebuilding, property development, construction or a similarly project-led environment. You will be commercially astute, comfortable operating in a growing business, and capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels. The role offers a flexible hybrid working model, with three days per week in the office and the remainder working remotely.
