Zanda is an Executive Search Partner

Zanda works exclusively with high growth start-ups as they look to scale their business with senior talent. Zanda partners with VC’s, Founder’s, CEO’s, and CFO’s when it comes to successfully delivering on key senior appointments.

A high-growth start-up/scale-up needs an exceptional Interim Head of Finance to step into a critical role during a period of transition. This isn't standard FP&A cover, you'll own a broad finance agenda, take oversight of elements of Legal, and work directly with the CEO and senior leadership on the business's biggest commercial and financial calls.

What you'll be doing

Initially, you'll lead FP&A:

  • Own the annual budget process through to sign-off
  • Headcount planning and workforce modelling
  • Compensation and variable pay modelling with RevOps
  • Board and management reporting, financials, KPIs, and business metrics
  • Commercial business partnering across the organisation
  • Pricing model calculations
  • Commissions modelling and reporting

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
