Head of Finance - Temporary/Contract

We are seeking an experienced Head of Finance to join an exciting, globally recognised luxury brand on a temporary/contract basis. This is a pivotal role for a commercially astute finance leader who can take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations while supporting the CFO/COO on strategic initiatives during a key period of growth and change.

This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced, premium consumer brand environment and is comfortable operating across multiple international markets and currencies.

As part of this role, there is also an opportunity to strengthen and refine existing finance processes — including tidying up some longstanding areas of the finance function as the business continues to professionalise and scale. This is a great fit for a finance leader who enjoys bringing structure, rigour, and best practice to a growing business.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Control & Reporting

  • Own the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate management accounts
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements across multiple international entities/markets
  • Ensure compliance with UK and relevant local statutory requirements
  • Manage the year-end audit process and act as primary liaison with external auditors
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls, policies, and procedures across the finance function
  • Review and enhance existing finance processes, reconciliations, and reporting structures, identifying opportunities to modernise and streamline as the business scales.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
