Interim Head of Financial Planning & Analysis

Six-month contract | £65,000-£70,000 | Remote | Start ASAP

An international charitable organisation is seeking a high-calibre Interim Head of FP&A to support a significant strategic project.

Working closely with the Finance Director, you will develop a clear financial framework around the organisation’s key products and services. This will involve analysing historical financial information, building robust financial models and translating complex analysis into clear, meaningful insights for senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a financial framework for the organisation’s products and services
  • Build financial models to support strategic decision-making
  • Analyse historical data to improve understanding of performance and value
  • Embed a consistent financial approach across funding proposals
  • Present complex financial information clearly to senior stakeholders
  • Support improvements to financial planning, reporting and processes
  • Work collaboratively across finance, programmes and fundraising teams

The Ideal Candidate Will Bring:

  • Significant senior-level FP&A or business-partnering experience
  • Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills
  • Experience delivering strategic finance or transformation projects
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
  • The ability to translate complex analysis into clear organisational insight
  • Experience within a complex, international or multi-country organisation
  • A recognised professional accounting qualification
  • Charity or international development experience would be advantageous
