We are working with a leading services business with private equity investment, embarking on an exciting phase of transformation and growth following a recent exit to private equity. As they scale, they are seeking an Interim Head of FP&A to support the CFO and leadership team in driving financial insight and strategic decision-making for six months.
The Role
This is a high-impact role ideal for a commercially minded finance professional with 7 -10 years of experience in FP&A, within a PE-backed environment. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy, enhancing reporting, and driving performance through data-led insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Modelling & Analysis: Build and refine financial models to assess business performance, forecast growth, and support strategic initiatives.
- Board Pack Development: Work directly with the CFO to enhance the board reporting pack, ensuring it meets the expectations of private equity stakeholders.
- KPI Scorecard Design: Lead the development and refinement of a new KPI framework, modelling the impact of key metrics on business performance.
- Pricing Strategy & Revenue Insight: Analyse pricing models and revenue streams, providing actionable commentary and recommendations for improvement.
- Data Manipulation & Presentation: Be very hands-on with data/financial modelling, being entrenched within the data lake of the business to consolidate and interpret data from multiple sources, presenting clear, concise insights to the CFO and senior leadership.
- Operational Analysis: Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and financial performance through data-driven analysis.

About You:
- 7 to 10 years of experience in FP&A, ideally with a recurring revenue model
- Strong PE-backed business exposure
- Strong financial modelling and Excel/Google Sheets skills.
- Proven ability to work with large datasets and distil insights for senior stakeholders.
- Experience improving board reporting and KPI frameworks.
- Commercially astute with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
