Interim Head of Marketing
London | 4 days per week in office
Interim Contract | Inside IR35
This is a genuinely unique opportunity to step inside one of the most exciting and sought-after media businesses in the UK.
We’re partnering with a high-growth, creator-led media business behind one of the world’s most recognised content brands. They already have millions of eyeballs on their content and an audience most brands would love to have.
The challenge isn’t buying attention.
It’s turning that attention into a repeatable growth engine.
We’re looking for a highly creative, commercially minded Interim Head of Marketing who can combine bold ideas with data to understand what makes content and campaigns travel – and then build a marketing engine that makes virality more intentional and less reliant on luck.
This is a scrappy role.
You won’t be sitting behind huge paid media budgets or relying on agencies to create growth. You’ll be close to the content, audience and data, constantly looking for creative ways to increase reach, distribution, engagement and commercial impact.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Testing ideas quickly, learning from the results and doubling down on what works
- Identifying new audiences, behaviours and opportunities for growth

- Working closely with content, social, product and commercial teams to turn ideas into action

- Is highly creative but equally comfortable with data
- Understands organic growth, audiences, content and distribution
- Can explain why something went viral rather than simply celebrating that it did
- Has built repeatable growth mechanisms around content, products or communities

Experience within media, entertainment, creator businesses, consumer technology, high-growth brands or other audience-led businesses would be particularly interesting.
This is not traditional brand marketing, and it’s not a big-budget performance marketing role.
It’s about creativity + data + distribution.
The business already has the attention. Your job is to help build the engine that makes that attention compound.
