Head of Performance (Paid Social focussed) - Up to £600 per Day (LTD) - London (Hybrid) - ASAP start date
Our client is looking for a senior performance leader who can operate confidently at two levels: deep inside the platforms and well above them. You’ll bring genuine expertise across Meta, Google, TikTok and the wider paid-media ecosystem, while having the strategic vision to rethink how those channels work together across a complex international portfolio. The opportunity is to take proven performance disciplines and evolve them through AI, automation, experimentation and smarter commercial decisioning. You won’t simply manage an established media operation - you’ll help define the model that comes next, while retaining the technical credibility to know when an account, campaign or optimisation strategy simply isn’t good enough.
The Head of Performance will combine hands-on paid-media authority with transformational leadership, creating a performance model where channel expertise, commercial intelligence and emerging AI technology work together to drive measurable growth.
Role Highlights
- Be the channel authority across Meta, Google, TikTok, Snap, Reddit and emerging platforms - able to interrogate performance, identify structural issues and know what needs to change.
- Set the technical standard for campaign architecture, bidding, audience strategy, platform-native AI and optimisation across multiple markets.
- Shape the future performance model, moving beyond isolated channel optimisation towards connected, intelligent investment decisions.
- Lead the evolution of AI-enabled decisioning, defining how automation should respond to demand, sales performance, audience signals and commercial priorities.
- Challenge and influence at senior level, turning sophisticated channel and performance data into clear recommendations on investment, growth and efficiency.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
