TransUnion Job Title
Team Overview
The Pricing function supports TransUnion’s UK & Europe commercial organisation by developing and implementing the group-wide strategic pricing initiative across the European market. The team partners with Sales, Solutions, Product, Finance, and other functions to establish pricing strategies and priorities across customer segments, product portfolios, and sales channels. Through competitive analysis, pricing frameworks, performance management, and data-driven decision-making, the function aims to deliver sustainable improvements in commercial performance and long-term business value. This role reports to the Senior Director of Global Deal Execution and currently manages a team of two. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
Role Overview and Core Responsibilities
- Lead the Pricing function across UK & Europe, setting its vision, strategic goals, execution priorities, operating model, and team development agenda.
- Build effective relationships with executive leadership, Sales, Solutions, Product, Finance, Business Intelligence, Legal, Compliance, and global pricing colleagues to align and deliver regional pricing priorities.
- Develop and implement value-based pricing strategies across customer, product, service, and sales-channel segments, ensuring alignment with TransUnion’s evolving go-to-market strategy, customer value propositions, and commercial objectives.
- Establish and maintain pricing frameworks, price lists, policies, and procedures for existing and new products, embedding structured pricing assessment and market testing into product-development and business-case processes.
- Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to strengthen TransUnion’s market position, inform business-development priorities, and provide actionable recommendations to commercial leadership.
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to incorporate pricing strategies into value propositions, campaigns, sales training, customer communications, and objection-handling guidance.
- Develop and deliver end-to-end customer repricing initiatives, working with Sales and executive leadership to identify suitable opportunities, incorporate targets into account plans, and monitor incremental revenue performance.
- Lead pricing input across lead-to-contract and renewal processes, including the Deal Desk for major clients and complex opportunities, standardized pricing for smaller customers, automated pricing tools, and consultation on commercial terms.
- Develop the pricing performance-management framework, analytical models, data sets, systems infrastructure, and reporting tools needed to monitor initiatives, improve pricing decisions, encourage adoption of best practices, and report progress to UK & Europe and divisional management.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
