I'm looking for an Interim Head of UX or Head of Product Design to join a leading digital agency on an initial 6-month contract.
I'm also open to speaking with strong Principal or Lead UX / Product Designers who have the right mix of hands-on experience, client leadership and team management.
This is a great opportunity for someone who loves being hands-on with design but is equally comfortable leading teams, managing senior stakeholders and getting involved in new business. The business is continuing its shift from traditional UX into a more product-led design approach, so we're looking for someone who can help drive that forward whilst delivering great work for clients.

Iβm in my final year doing Economics and I donβt know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer β it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) donβt need a masters. Letβs look at the ones youβd be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet β that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The key requirement is someone who can operate at Head of level but still enjoys being hands-on. This isn't a purely strategic or people management role. You'll be heavily involved in delivering design work, whilst providing leadership and direction to the wider team.
βIt took my CV and asked me questions relevant to understanding what kind of jobs to suggest for me. Suggestions were almost perfect. Jobs were exactly what Iβve been looking for.β
