HR Advisor Opportunity

HRLife are working with a brilliant, well-known consumer brand to find them a friendly, capable and trusted HR Advisor for a six-month FTC.

It’s a really exciting time to join. This is a relatively small, fast-moving business with a great culture, and with a new HR leader joining shortly there will be plenty happening across the People agenda over the coming months.

Initially, you’ll take a thorough handover and become a trusted first point of contact for employees and managers, someone who can confidently hold the fort, keep everything moving and provide pragmatic, credible HR advice.

This is a broad generalist role. There will be some employee relations and you’ll need to be comfortable advising managers on day-to-day people matters, but this is not an ER-heavy position. You’ll also support recruitment activity (working with agency partners), manage onboarding and ensure the HR system is kept accurate and up to date with starters, leavers and employee changes so that payroll can be processed correctly.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
