Interim HR Advisor

Insurance | London | 1 day per week office-based | 35 hours per week | c.£50,000 | September – December 2026

Our client, a successful insurance organisation is seeking an experienced Interim HR Advisor to join its People team during a period of significant organisational change. This is a fast-paced environment where you’ll need to hit the ground running and provide hands-on HR support across a variety of operational HR activities.

Working alongside the HR team, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day HR operations, including:

  • Managing the HR inbox and first-line HR queries
  • Producing contracts, variations, and HR documentation
  • Supporting managers with absence, capability, and performance management matters
  • Providing practical HR advice and guidance to line managers
  • Maintaining HR records and processes using the HRIS
  • Supporting ongoing consultation and restructuring activity across the business

We’re looking for a proactive HR professional with strong generalist experience, excellent organisational skills, and the confidence to work independently while supporting managers through complex people issues.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven HR Advisor experience within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritise effectively
  • HRIS and administration experience
