HR Advisor – 4 Month Contract
Cheltenham | Full Time, On-Site | Inside IR35
We are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join a well-established organisation based in Cheltenham on an initial 4-month contract.
Working as part of a busy HR function, you’ll provide hands-on HR advice and support across a broad range of employee relations and people matters. This would suit someone who enjoys working closely with managers and employees and is confident operating in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide practical HR advice and guidance to managers and employees
- Support a range of employee relations cases, including absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance matters
- Coach and advise line managers on HR policies and best practice
- Support employee engagement and wider people initiatives
- Assist with HR processes across the employee lifecycle
- Work closely with the wider HR team to ensure a consistent approach across the business
- Maintain accurate HR records and documentation

About you:
- Previous experience in an HR Advisor or similar generalist HR role
- Strong employee relations experience
- Confident advising and influencing managers
- Good understanding of UK employment practices
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working at pace
- Available to work full time on-site in Cheltenham
