Interim HR Consultant – Employee Relations & TUPE | London
Our client, within the financial services sector, is entering a significant period of transformation and change and is seeking an experienced Interim HR Consultant to provide flexible, hands-on support over the coming months.
The assignment will focus on managing complex BAU Employee Relations matters alongside supporting organisational change, collective consultation and TUPE-related activity.
This would suit an experienced HR Consultant or Interim HRBP who can hit the ground running, work autonomously and provide hands-on support across both day-to-day ER and more complex change initiatives.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing complex end-to-end Employee Relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence matters.
- Supporting organisational restructuring and transformation initiatives.
- Supporting collective consultation processes, including preparing documentation, coordinating meetings and advising managers on appropriate processes.
- Providing practical HR support on TUPE-related activity, including employee consultation, communications and transfer arrangements.
- Conducting individual consultation meetings and supporting managers and employees throughout periods of change.
- Partnering with key stakeholders to deliver effective people-related change activity.
- Providing additional HR support during peak periods, with the flexibility to increase hours as required.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
