Interim IFRS Technical Accounting Consultant
3 Month Contract
£500–£600 per day (Inside IR35)
Hybrid – South-East England
T2M Resourcing are working with an international client seeking an experienced IFRS Technical Accounting Consultant to support a group restructuring project. Including the disposal of several entities. This role will deliver high-quality technical accounting outputs for external audit as part of the program.
Key Responsibilities
As Interim IFRS Technical Accounting Consultant, key responsibilities will include:
- Prepare audit-ready technical accounting papers for disposals and restructuring activities.
- Produce IFRS compliant accounting analyses, journal entries, and financial statement disclosures.
- Calculate disposal gains/losses, assess accounting treatments, and document key judgements.
- Support external audit requirements with robust, well-documented technical papers.
- Work closely with Group Finance to ensure a smooth handover at project completion.

Requirements
To be successful as Interim IFRS Technical Accounting Consultant, you will have the following skills and experience:
- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualified.
- Strong IFRS technical accounting background within large multinational organisations.
- Proven experience of disposal accounting, deconsolidation, M&A transactions, and Group restructurings.
- Experienced in preparing technical accounting papers for external audit.
- Excellent knowledge of IFRS and IAS standards, particularly IFRS 5, 7, 9, 10 and 12 and IAS 1, 21, and 32.
- Candidates MUST be based and eligible to work in the UK.
