We're working with a global technology business looking for an experienced Product Counsel to support a high-performing legal team during a period of change.

This isn't a traditional commercial contracts role. You'll partner closely with Product teams to help shape, develop and launch innovative technology services across areas including AI, digital workplace solutions and cloud-based offerings. Working on a portfolio of strategic projects, you'll identify legal and regulatory issues early, coordinate specialist input where needed and build practical legal frameworks that enable products to get to market.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

They're looking for a lawyer with a strong technology background (software, SaaS, cloud, technology services or hardware would all be relevant) who enjoys working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering and Commercial teams. You'll be comfortable navigating ambiguity, asking the right questions, spotting legal issues before they become problems and delivering pragmatic, commercially focused advice. Experience supporting product development, technology transactions or complex transformation projects would be highly advantageous.
