About the Role
We're working with a well-known purpose-led organisation looking to appoint a senior in-house lawyer to cover a maternity leave of a pivotal role within its in-house legal team.
This is a strategic leadership position, combining commercial legal work with responsibility for shaping legal strategy, partnering with senior stakeholders and leading a high-performing team. You'll be a trusted advisor to executive leadership, negotiating complex commercial agreements, driving continuous improvement and helping modernise legal service delivery through technology and innovation.

Key Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with significant post-qualification experience gained in-house and/or private practice
- Commercial contracts expertise
- Outstanding drafting and negotiation skills
- Track record of advising on high-value, business-critical matters
- Experience in influencing senior stakeholders
- Proven leadership in leading legal teams
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with pragmatic, solutions-focused advice
