Employee Incentives Lawyer – 12-Month FTC

We are working with a leading international law firm that is looking to add an Associate to its highly regarded Employee Incentives practice in London on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

The Practice

The team advises an impressive client base ranging from high-growth and private equity-backed businesses through to major listed and international companies.

The practice covers the full range of employee incentives, share schemes and executive remuneration matters, with the team regularly working alongside the firm’s Corporate, Private Equity, Employment and Tax practices on complex domestic and cross-border matters.

The Work

The successful candidate will gain exposure to a broad mix of standalone advisory and transactional work, including:

  • Designing, implementing and operating employee share plans and incentive arrangements
  • Advising on EMI and CSOP options, growth shares, LTIPs and other management incentive structures
  • Executive remuneration and bonus arrangements
  • Management equity arrangements for private equity-backed businesses
  • Incentives aspects of M&A transactions, investments, IPOs and other corporate events
  • Employment-related securities and associated tax considerations
  • International and cross-border share plans and incentive arrangements

The Candidate

The team is interested in speaking with lawyers with experience in employee incentives, share schemes and/or executive remuneration.

Candidates may currently sit within a dedicated Employee Incentives or Share Schemes practice, although lawyers from Tax or Employment teams with significant incentives experience will also be considered.

This position is being offered on a 12-month fixed-term basis.
