Starfish Search Supports London Borough on IT Applications Analyst Appointment

Starfish Search is supporting a London Borough on the appointment of an Interim IT Applications Analyst through its Windows 11 transition, with a focus on application remediation, testing, and UAT.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead application remediation activity across the Council's application portfolio.
  • Gather requirements and coordinate testing and UAT with business users and IT teams.
  • Work with third-party suppliers to support application packaging and deployment.
  • Review application usage and licensing, identifying opportunities to rationalise or retire applications.
  • Maintain accurate application records and report on progress, risks, and issues.

About You

  • Experience as a Business Analyst, Applications Analyst or similar in a complex organisation.
  • Strong experience of application remediation, rationalisation, or migration, including testing and UAT.
  • Able to work confidently with technical teams, business users, and third-party suppliers.
  • Local government or wider public sector experience is desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
