Interim Data Privacy Lawyer | Global Tech | London | Contract
A high-growth UK technology business is seeking an Interim Data Privacy Lawyer to join its legal team on an initial contract 6-12 months.
The team is looking for a privacy-focused lawyer who can take ownership of day-to-day data protection matters and support ongoing business initiatives.
The Role
You will advise on a broad range of privacy and data protection issues, including:
- GDPR compliance and regulatory advisory work
- Data processing and information governance matters
- Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs/DPIAs)
- Data subject access requests (DSARs) and redaction exercises
- Day-to-day privacy queries arising within a fast-paced technology environment
- Supporting wider legal and compliance projects

About You
- Qualified lawyer with data privacy experience gained in private practice and/or in-house
- Strong understanding of UK GDPR and practical data protection compliance
- Comfortable working closely with stakeholders across the business
- Experience within technology, fintech, payments or other regulated sectors would be advantageous
- Some commercial contracts exposure is beneficial but not essential

Contract Details
- Start: ASAP (candidates available within the next month will also be considered)
- Duration: 4-6 months initially
- Potential for extension beyond the initial term
- Hybrid working
