Interim Regulatory Legal Counsel | FinTech | London | Hybrid

We're working with a highly innovative, regulated financial services business seeking an Interim Regulatory Legal Counsel to support its legal team during a period of continued product expansion and regulatory change.

This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer looking to gain broad exposure across payments, product, financial services regulation and cross-border banking initiatives, while working closely with senior stakeholders in a collaborative and commercially focused environment.

The Role

You will:

  • Advise on a broad range of financial services regulatory matters
  • Support new product launches and product development initiatives
  • Provide legal guidance on payments and cross-border banking services
  • Partner with product, compliance and business teams on strategic projects
  • Help navigate regulatory change and emerging legal issues
  • Operate as a trusted legal advisor within a lean and highly visible legal function

About You

  • Ideally 2–6 PQE, although all relevant profiles will be considered
  • Strong financial services regulatory experience
  • Fintech and payments experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership of matters
  • Commercial, pragmatic and adaptable approach
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
