Interim Lead HR Business Partner

Job Type: 6-Month Fixed Term Contract

Salary: To be discussed

Location: South West based with occasional travel as required

Hybrid: 1-2 days working from home.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded HR professional who enjoys operating at both a strategic and hands-on level. You'll provide senior HR leadership across the business while acting as the overarching manager for the HR Business Partner team, ensuring consistency, quality, and confidence across the function.

This role would suit someone who naturally coaches, mentors, and develops others, whilst partnering with senior stakeholders to deliver pragmatic, commercially focused people solutions.

The Opportunity

As the Interim Senior / Lead HR Business Partner, you'll be the senior HRBP within the team, providing leadership, direction, and support across a broad people agenda. You'll work closely with Partners and senior leaders on complex people matters while developing the capability of the wider HR team.

Alongside managing your own stakeholder group, you'll act as the escalation point for complex employee relations issues, provide guidance on organizational change, and ensure the HRBP team is delivering a consistent, high-quality service.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
