Interim Legal Counsel

3 month contract
Media firm (advertising agency)
London - Hybrid working
Between £80K-£100K

The Role:

  • Take ownership of drafting, managing and negotiating commercial contracts with our clients and suppliers (including MSAs, Talent Agreements and NDAs).
  • Manage with autonomy and escalating to General Counsel where appropriate.
  • Respond efficiently and speedily to day to day requests for assistance from all parts of the business providing informed and considered counsel (including to senior management) while managing stakeholders’ expectations.
  • Take an active role in supervising the paralegal.
  • Research legal issues and present findings to General Counsel and the wider business.
  • Assist with resolving disputes with clients and suppliers as needed.
  • Assist with the drafting and updating of policies and compliance-related issues e.g. Data Privacy, Modern Slavery and Anti-bribery.
