🚨 We’re hiring: Interim Management Accountant | 3-Month FTC
📍 Blackburn – Hybrid
⏱️ 3-month fixed-term contract
We’re looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join Maintel on an initial 3-month FTC, supporting our Finance team during a busy period.
This is a great opportunity for someone who can hit the ground running, take ownership of their workload quickly and provide reliable financial insight across the business.
You’ll be responsible for the delivery of monthly management accounts and financial reporting, while partnering with stakeholders to understand performance, variances and cost drivers.
💼 What you’ll be doing:
- Preparing monthly management accounts, P&L, balance sheet and variance analysis
- Managing month-end journals, accruals and prepayments
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and planning
- Partnering with budget holders and non-finance stakeholders
- Producing financial reports, dashboards and commentary for senior management
- Supporting audit, VAT and wider financial compliance activity
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls

🔎 What we’re looking for:
You’ll be full or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) with solid management accounting experience and the confidence to come into an established Finance function and get up to speed quickly.
