Interim Management Accountant - Manchester
As an Interim Management Accountant in Manchester, you'll play a key role in managing financial records, preparing reports, and supporting decision-making processes. This 6-month temporary role will see you contributing to the smooth running of the accounting and finance department.

A reputable organisation, based in Manchester.
Description
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements.
- Manage month-end processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
- Support budget preparation and forecasting activities.
- Provide financial analysis to support key business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and policies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address financial queries.
- Assist with the preparation of audit materials as required.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Profile
A successful Interim Management Accountant should have:
- Strong experience in financial reporting and analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
- A solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.

Job Offer
- Daily rate of £180 to £200, dependent on the level of experience.
- Hybrid working arrangement for flexibility.
- 6-month temporary contract offering valuable public sector experience.
