Interim Marketing Manager
We are seeking an Interim Marketing Manager to lead the day-to-day marketing function during the 12-month maternity leave of the Marketing & Brand Manager, ensuring the successful delivery of marketing activity across Hendra Holiday Park, Oasis Fun Pools, NQY Rocks and associated brands.
The Interim Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing the marketing team, overseeing campaign delivery, coordinating marketing budgets, contributing to strategic planning, and ensuring marketing activity supports wider business objectives. Working closely with the Managing Director, Marketing Consultant, marketing team and external agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operation of the marketing department.
- Line manage and support the marketing team.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the annual marketing plan.
- Manage agreed marketing budgets and ensure expenditure is monitored and aligned with business objectives.
- Lead the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns, seasonal activity, promotions, events and new product launches.
- Oversee marketing activity across Hendra Holiday Park, Oasis Fun Pools, NQY Rocks and associated brands.
- Coordinate content planning across websites, email marketing, social media and digital channels.
- Work closely with external marketing consultant, to implement agreed marketing strategies and priorities.
- Manage relationships with external suppliers, advertising partners, media contacts and agencies.
- Work alongside external website development agency on digital projects, SEO and other agreed marketing initiatives.
- Review campaign performance and provide recommendations to improve guest engagement, brand awareness, lead generation and bookings.
- Identify new marketing opportunities and contribute ideas to support business growth.
- Ensure brand standards are maintained across all customer and staff-facing communications.
- Support departmental planning and provide marketing input into wider business projects.
- Coordinate photography, videography and content creation activity across the business.
- Produce regular performance reports and updates for the Managing Director and senior leadership team.

Strategic & Governance Responsibilities
- Support the development of marketing strategy and annual planning activity.
- Provide recommendations and insight regarding marketing investment, campaign priorities and promotional opportunities.
- Manage agreed marketing budgets within delegated authority levels.
- Contribute marketing expertise to key business projects and commercial initiatives.
- Escalate significant brand, budgetary or strategic decisions where required.

About You:
- Several years proven experience in a senior leadership marketing role
- Be an effective people manager with the ability to motivate and support team members
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Commercially minded
- Experience managing marketing budgets
- Be comfortable working collaboratively with senior partners
- Ideally have experience within the tourism sector
