Interim Medical Director, UK – Women’s Health / SRH
Remote UK | 0.4 FTE (approx. 2 days/week) | 6-month contract
We are looking for a senior, still-practising clinician to act as the UK Medical Director and senior medical voice for a medical device client, developing an innovative regulated digital contraception solution.
Working alongside the UK SLT, Medical Affairs Head and UK Medical Advisory Board, you will provide the medical authority, advocacy and external engagement needed to strengthen adoption among healthcare professionals, medical societies and B2B partners. You will also chair the UK Medical Advisory Board and represent the organisation at key professional and scientific forums.
Main Responsibilities:
- Chair the UK Medical Advisory Board, shaping clinical strategy, research priorities and the medical roadmap.
- Lead the clinical positioning and adoption of digital contraception within UK healthcare practice.
- Drive engagement with key professional bodies and KOLs, including CoSRH, RCOG, RCGP and PCWHS.
- Support guideline strategy and recognition of digital contraception within UK contraceptive guidance.
- Identify key evidence gaps and help shape HCP research, education and publication strategy.
- Represent the company at major medical congresses, scientific meetings and KOL forums.
- Act as a senior clinical spokesperson across professional, clinical and media channels.
- Provide medical leadership for B2B partnerships and NHS/private healthcare integration, working closely with global Medical, Regulatory, Product and Science teams.

- GMC-registered and currently practising UK physician.
- Recognised authority in Women’s Health / Sexual & Reproductive Health (SRH).
- Established KOL profile and relationships with relevant UK medical societies and clinical leaders.
- Credible and confident public speaker and medical spokesperson.
- Strong interest in innovative contraception and digital health.
- Previous industry/Medical Affairs experience is advantageous but not essential.
