Interim Operations Manager

A leading Facilities Management provider is seeking an Interim Operations Manager to oversee the delivery of integrated Hard and Soft FM services across a multi-site portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity to drive operational performance, lead service improvements and work closely with clients and stakeholders to deliver exceptional FM services.

The Role

As The Interim Operations Manager, You'll

  • Lead the delivery of integrated Hard and Soft FM services across multiple sites.
  • Monitor and improve KPI, SLA and service performance, identifying trends and implementing improvements.
  • Manage operational risks through proactive planning, escalation and mitigation.
  • Coordinate planned, reactive and lifecycle maintenance activities across the portfolio.
  • Ensure CAFM systems accurately support service delivery, reporting and performance management.
  • Manage subcontractors and supply chain partners, ensuring contractual and statutory compliance.
  • Support the delivery of technical compliance, fabric and grounds maintenance programmes.
  • Lead incident response, business continuity and service recovery activities where required.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, operational teams and key stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement by implementing new processes, operational controls and best practice.

Required

  • Provide operational leadership and support to the wider account management team when required.

To be successful in the role of Interim Operations Manager, you'll bring:

  • Proven experience managing Total Facilities Management (TFM) contracts.
  • Experience overseeing Hard FM services across multi-site portfolios.
  • A strong track record of managing KPIs, SLAs and operational performance.
  • Experience using CAFM systems and performance management tools.
  • Strong commercial awareness, including budget management and contract performance.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • A Full UK Driving Licence.

  • Experience working within a PFI environment.
