Interim Part Exchange Manager

Redditch, Worcestershire

£45,000 - £50,000 + Commission (pro rata)

6 Month FTC

Role Purpose

To manage the region's HomeChange and Part Exchange scheme end to end, from enquiry through to legal completion and post-handover, maximising sell-on prices and protecting the region's financial position while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the scheme from application through to legal completion and post-completion, as the customer's single point of contact throughout
  • Instruct valuers and surveyors, and negotiate offers that balance sales velocity against commercial margin
  • Manage a portfolio of part exchange properties, overseeing refurbishment, marketing and resale
  • Build relationships with estate agents, surveyors and solicitors to progress transactions and resolve delays
  • Work with Sales Advisors and Managers to identify and convert part exchange opportunities on development
  • Provide monthly forecasting to the MD and quarterly reporting to Finance, covering stock, performance and profitability
  • Ensure all activity is compliant with company policy and property law

  • Proven experience across new build and second-hand residential property
  • Experience of part exchange, assisted move schemes, or managing a residential property portfolio
  • Strong commercial acumen and confident negotiation skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to produce and present accurate forecasts to board level
  • Full UK driving licence, with flexibility to travel across the region
  • Estate agency or new homes sales management background
  • Working knowledge of conveyancing processes and residential property law
  • Relevant professional qualification (e.g. NAEA, RICS or similar)
