Interim Partnership Tax Senior Manager (Contract - 6 months)

Lead Complex Partnership Tax Matters in a High-Impact Contract Role

We are seeking an experienced Partnership Tax Senior Manager to join a well-established and highly regarded organisation on an interim contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, providing expert advice on complex partnership matters and delivering practical solutions to senior stakeholders.

The role offers immediate exposure to a broad range of partnership tax issues, giving you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact from day one while working alongside a collaborative and commercially focused team.

The Opportunity

As Partnership Tax Manager, you will take ownership of partnership tax compliance and advisory matters, ensuring technical excellence while supporting strategic business initiatives. You will act as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders and help navigate complex tax issues affecting partnerships, LLPs, and their members.

This role would suit an experienced contractor, consultant, or tax professional between permanent opportunities who can quickly build relationships and add value in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee partnership tax compliance processes, ensuring accurate and timely filings.
  • Provide technical advice on partnership taxation, partner allocations, profit sharing arrangements, and restructuring projects.
  • Support the preparation and review of partnership tax returns and partner statements.
  • Advise on the tax implications of partner admissions, retirements, and changes in ownership structures.
  • Partner with finance, legal, and business teams to provide commercially focused tax guidance.
  • Assist with tax risk management, governance, and compliance initiatives.
  • Respond to HMRC enquiries and support tax authority interactions where required.
  • Review existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
  • Support ad hoc advisory projects, transactions, and business change initiatives.

About You

You will be a technically strong tax professional with significant experience dealing with partnership tax matters and the confidence to operate autonomously within a complex environment.

Requirements

  • ACA, CTA, ATT, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Strong practical experience of UK partnership taxation.
  • Previous experience advising partnerships, LLPs, or professional services firms.
  • Ability to interpret complex tax legislation and provide clear commercial advice.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working independently and delivering results within a contract environment.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within professional services, asset management, real estate, private equity, or alternative investment structures.
  • Exposure to partner tax issues, international partnerships, or cross-border structures.
  • Previous interim or contract experience.
