Interim Payroll Administrator
This is a part-time interim Payroll Administrator role to support during a payroll transition, taking ownership of three UK payrolls (400 employees) and smaller payrolls across Ireland, France, and the US using ADP software. Reporting to the Head of Financial Control, you'll ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, manage pension administration, and act as the main point of contact for payroll queries while working flexibly.
Client Details
Our client is a well-established international media and technology business with over 400 employees, operating across multiple markets and delivering digital content, data, and marketing solutions to a global customer base. They are currently seeking interim payroll support during a period of transition, with responsibility for UK and small international payrolls, pension administration, and payroll query management.

This role will likely last 3 months with the potential to extend dependant on the needs of the business.
Description
- Process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain and update payroll records and systems.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll legislation and regulations.
- Handle employee payroll queries and resolve any issues promptly.
- Prepare payroll reports for management review.
- Collaborate with the finance team on payroll reconciliations.
- Assist with audits related to payroll processes.
- Identify and implement process improvements for payroll efficiency.
Profile
A Successful Interim Payroll Officer Should Have
- Experience in processing payroll within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
- ADP payroll experience is required.
- Stand-alone payroll experience.
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems and relevant legislation.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Effective communication skills to manage employee queries.
- Proficiency with payroll software and tools.

Job Offer
- Daily rate of £220 - £265, dependent on the level of experience.
- Temporary position based in London.
- Opportunity to work within the industrial and manufacturing sector.
