Interim Payroll Transformation Lead (CloudPay Implementation)
3 to 4 months | £600 per day (outside IR35) | Fully remote | Start: November
Our client, a global organisation, is looking for an experienced interim Payroll Transformation Lead to take ownership of a global CloudPay implementation, running alongside a Workday programme, and drive it through to full implementation and business as usual.
The programme is well advanced and the foundations are in place. The focus now is on landing it: leading the remaining implementation work, bringing the business and the regions with you, and getting payroll into a stable, fully embedded state. You'll lead an established team of implementation consultants and work across a global footprint covering the UK, EMEA, the Nordics, India and the US.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
