£200-£230 per day via an umbrella company

Job Description

Panoramic Associates is currently working with a School based in South East London to facilitate the appointment of an experienced Premises Manager on an interim contract from ASAP through to February.

This is a practical, site-based role requiring a premises professional who can maintain a safe, well-run school environment. You will be visible on site day-to-day and will be expected to deal with building issues, minor repairs and maintenance tasks, while ensuring robust health and safety compliance and a strong focus on preventative maintenance. You will also have the support of a Premises Officer.

While the role is mainly on-site due to the operational nature of the post, there may be flexibility for occasional home working to complete paperwork and compliance documentation, with the expectation that time is managed effectively and site coverage is not impacted.

Responsibilities of the Role

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the school premises, ensuring the site is safe, secure and fully operational.
  • Carry out basic building / handyman repairs and maintenance tasks across the school.
  • Conduct regular site inspections (including working at height where required, e.g. ladders/roof-level visual checks) and identify issues before they become failures.
  • Coordinate and monitor reactive repairs and planned maintenance, escalating to contractors when appropriate.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation and maintain clear site records, checks and documentation.
  • Proactively address hazards and maintenance risks, implementing preventative actions to reduce breakdowns and disruption.
  • Work collaboratively with school staff to prioritise works and minimise impact on the school day.
  • Work alongside and support the Premises Officer to ensure consistent site coverage and effective completion of tasks.
  • Complete associated paperwork and compliance tasks, managing time to ensure both site needs and documentation requirements are met.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
