Interim Privacy Counsel

Initial 4-Month Contract (potential for extension) | London (Hybrid) | ASAP Start

We're working with a global technology and digital entertainment business seeking an experienced Privacy Counsel to support its established privacy function on an initial 4-month contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded privacy lawyer to join a multinational organisation operating across multiple jurisdictions, partnering with legal, compliance and business stakeholders on a broad range of data protection, privacy and emerging technology matters.

The role offers exposure to a complex international environment and would suit someone comfortable providing pragmatic, risk-based advice in a fast-paced business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advising on UK and European privacy and data protection requirements, including GDPR compliance
  • Supporting privacy reviews, risk assessments and broader compliance initiatives
  • Providing practical legal guidance to internal stakeholders across a global organisation
  • Advising on privacy implications relating to new technologies and digital products
  • Supporting data governance, international data transfer and regulatory compliance matters
  • Assisting with the implementation and interpretation of evolving privacy and AI regulations
  • Working closely with legal, compliance, technology and business teams on day-to-day privacy issues

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
