Private Equity Lawyer (FTC) | 5-6 Month Contract | London
A leading client is seeking an experienced Private Equity Lawyer to join its London team on an initial 5-6 month fixed-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with a background in private equity, funds, corporate or M&A to take ownership of a portfolio of complex fund-related matters while working closely with senior stakeholders in a high-performing legal environment.
The Opportunity
You will play a key role in managing and coordinating a range of ongoing fund liquidation projects, acting as a central point of contact across multiple workstreams. The position offers significant responsibility, autonomy and exposure to sophisticated private capital matters, including the opportunity to support on secondary transactions.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate fund liquidation matters from inception through to completion.
- Manage multiple workstreams and ensure matters progress efficiently.
- Act as a key escalation point for legal and operational queries.
- Work closely with partners, associates and support teams to drive delivery.
- Assist with private capital and secondary transaction matters where required.
About You
- Qualified lawyer with approximately 5+ years' PQE (more senior candidates also encouraged to apply).
- Experience in private equity, funds, corporate or M&A matters.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience gained within a leading law firm environment.
- Comfortable managing competing priorities and working autonomously.
- Commercial, pragmatic and solutions-focused approach.
