Interim Procurement Manager

Department: Procurement

Employment Type: Fixed Term - Full Time

Location: London

Compensation: £60,000 - £70,000 / year

Description

Reconomy is an international circular economy specialist, helping businesses manage resources more sustainably and unlock value through innovative environmental and sustainability solutions. Operating across multiple markets, we support thousands of customers in achieving their commercial and sustainability goals through technology-enabled services and expert-led solutions. Our people are at the heart of our success, and we are committed to creating an inclusive, collaborative environment where individuals can grow and thrive in their careers.

About the Role

We're looking for an Interim Procurement Manager to join our growing team and play a key role in driving value, innovation, and sustainable sourcing across our organisation.

Initially offered on a 3-month interim basis, this role has genuine potential to become a longer-term or permanent opportunity for the right person. We're looking for someone who can quickly make an impact, bring fresh thinking and help strengthen our procurement function.

This is more than a traditional procurement role. You'll be responsible for leading strategic sourcing initiatives, managing key supplier relationships, and ensuring we maximise commercial value whilst supporting our ambitious sustainability goals. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll influence decision-making, negotiate complex contracts, manage risk and identify opportunities to improve how we work.

We're looking for someone who combines strong commercial acumen with a collaborative approach. Someone who enjoys building trusted relationships, challenging the status quo, and finding smarter ways of doing things. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery whilst helping us drive operational excellence and positive environmental impact.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
