Procurement & Third-Party Risk Management Professional

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Procurement & Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) professional to join a business at a pivotal stage of growth and integration. Following a recent acquisition within the fintech sector, the organisation is looking to strengthen its procurement and risk governance framework while maintaining the pace, innovation and agility that make acquired businesses successful.

This role offers the chance to work at the intersection of procurement, supplier governance, risk and business transformation, helping shape how future acquisitions are integrated and governed across the wider organisation.

Your New Role

As a Procurement & TPRM Manager, you will take the lead in embedding fit-for-purpose procurement standards, supplier governance models and third-party risk controls into a newly acquired fintech business. Working closely with stakeholders across procurement, risk and operational teams, you will assess existing processes, identify opportunities for improvement and implement frameworks that balance robust governance with commercial flexibility.

A key part of the role will involve developing governance standards and operating models that align with both regulatory requirements and business objectives. You will also identify opportunities to streamline supplier portfolios, improve commercial outcomes and drive integration synergies.

Beyond the immediate integration programme, you will help create acquisition playbooks, standards and templates that can be used to support future business integrations, giving you the opportunity to leave a lasting impact on the organisation's procurement and supplier risk capability.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
