Interim Product Transformation Director - Outside - £900-950 per day
6 months (strong potential to go permanent) | UK, hybrid | Immediate start preferred
Our client is a fast-growing services business moving from project-based delivery to a product-centric operating model, and needs an interim leader to drive that transformation from the ground up.
This isn't a mature product function to inherit - you'll be standing up the capability model and operating model while delivering live product work at the same time, roughly 50:50.
The role
As part of the technology leadership team, you'll lead the transition to product-centric delivery across a multi-disciplinary team of product managers, business analysts, delivery managers, and change managers. You'll own the business capability model and product portfolio, and drive the shift to product-centric ways of working across the business.

What we're looking for
- Experience leading a shift to product-centric delivery or building a product-led operating model from scratch, or strong product leadership from a less mature environment
- A track record winning over stakeholders who don't yet see why the change matters
- Experience leading mixed teams of product, business analysis, delivery, and change professionals
- Strong capability modelling and value stream thinking, with the ability to partner well with engineering and architecture teams
- A hands-on approach - you'll do the work as well as set the direction
