Interim Production Planning Lead

Location: Gloucester

Contract: Initial 6-8 weeks (likely to extend)

IR35: Outside IR35

Day rate: Negotiable depending on experience

We are supporting a manufacturing business looking to establish a stronger production planning capability.

The initial focus will be on creating a practical planning process using Excel and existing operational data, before helping the business move towards a more structured planning system.

Key Experience:

  • Strong production planning experience within manufacturing
  • Advanced Excel and data modelling capability
  • Production scheduling and capacity planning
  • Understanding of materials, labour, machine capacity and bottlenecks
  • Ability to build planning processes from a relatively immature starting point
  • Experience improving planning visibility, controls and reporting
  • Exposure to MRP, ERP or production planning systems would be beneficial
  • Previous interim or transformation experience would be advantageous
