Starfish Search is supporting a Local Authority to appoint an Interim Specialist Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major collective consultation process as part of its transformation programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and delivery of the collective consultation workstream
  • Coordinate consultation plans, timelines, resources, risks and dependencies
  • Work closely with HR, Employee Relations, Trade Unions and senior stakeholders
  • Ensure consultation activity is legally informed, well organised and delivered at pace
  • Maintain strong governance, reporting, action logs and risk management
  • Identify and escalate employment relations and organisational risks

About You:

  • Experienced Project or Programme Manager with a strong background in organisational change
  • Significant experience of collective consultation, workforce change or restructuring
  • Strong understanding of employment law, employee relations and Trade Union engagement
  • Excellent project management, governance and stakeholder management skills
  • Confident working in complex, politically sensitive organisations
  • Organised, proactive and able to provide strong delivery grip in a fast-paced environment
