INTERIM COMMERCIAL PROPERTY LAWYER | MATERNITY COVER
We’re partnering with a entertainment/gambling business on an exciting interim Commercial Property Lawyer opportunity, covering a maternity leave.
This is a high-visibility role within an established legal team, supporting a large UK property portfolio and working closely with internal Estates teams and external counsel.
The role:
- Manage a high-volume commercial property workload with minimal supervision
- Draft and negotiate lease renewals, lease variations, surrenders and deeds of surrender
- Advise on landlord consents, including alterations, assignments and subletting
- Provide pragmatic, commercially focused advice on day-to-day property matters
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external property counsel
- Support on matters under the Landlord & Tenant Act 1954

We’re looking for:
- Qualified solicitor or legal executive with strong commercial property experience
- Experience managing matters from inception through to completion
- Strong knowledge of LTA 1954 lease renewals
- Comfortable handling a high-volume portfolio independently
- Strong stakeholder management and commercial judgement
- In-house or private practice experience
