Role Description
This is a remote volunteer role for an Interim QA Engineer. You will play a key role in testing and assuring the quality of the Paramount Students platform, ensuring a reliable, user-friendly experience for students and partner institutions.

Day-to-day tasks include:

- Executing manual tests across web and mobile platforms.
- Reviewing and updating test cases to reflect evolving student workflows.
- Documenting defects and collaborating with developers to clarify requirements and verify fixes.
- Participating in test planning and reporting results.
- Suggesting improvements in testing processes and contributing to continuous product quality.
This volunteer position offers practical experience in software testing within a mission-driven, international education environment.
Qualifications
- Skills in Test Execution and Manual Testing to validate platform features and student journeys.
- Experience in Quality Assurance and Software Testing to ensure reliability and performance.
- Ability to create and maintain Test Cases for structured, repeatable testing.
- Basic understanding of web and mobile application workflows (e.g., enrollment, course browsing, subscription flows).
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and clear written communication.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Interest in education technology, international student experiences, or study abroad programs is highly beneficial.
- Previous QA or software testing experience is a plus, but motivated learners with related coursework are welcome.
