The Opportunity
We are supporting a search on behalf of a well-established organisation operating within a UKAS-accredited technical environment. This is a key appointment, responsible for leading the Quality Management System, maintaining ISO/IEC 17025 compliance and driving continuous improvement across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Manage UKAS accreditation and external assessments.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with ISO/IEC 17025.
- Lead internal audits, CAPA and non-conformance investigations.
- Maintain quality documentation and governance.
- Partner with technical and operational teams to promote quality and continuous improvement.

We're interested in experienced quality professionals from UKAS-accredited laboratory, testing, inspection or calibration environments. Typical backgrounds include:

Essential Experience
- Experience within a UKAS-accredited environment.
- Strong knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025.
- Experience managing UKAS audits and assessments.
- Ownership of Quality Management Systems.
- Internal auditing, CAPA and continuous improvement.
