Registered Manager (Maternity Cover) – Elderly Care and Residential Home

Wellingborough
£55,000 per annum

Are you an experienced Registered Manager looking for your next opportunity to make a positive impact?

We're looking for a passionate and dedicated Interim Registered Manager to join us on a maternity cover contract and lead our Nursing Home with confidence, compassion, and professionalism.

In this role, you'll be responsible for the overall management of the service, ensuring residents receive outstanding, person-centred care while maintaining compliance, supporting your team, and driving high standards across the home.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading the day-to-day operations of the home and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for residents.
  • Managing, motivating, and developing a dedicated care team, creating a positive and supportive culture.
  • Ensuring the service remains fully compliant with CQC regulations and all relevant legislation.
  • Overseeing care planning and ensuring residents' individual needs are met to the highest standard.
  • Supporting residents living with dementia and other complex care needs through high-quality, person-centred care.
  • Monitoring quality, governance, and performance to ensure excellent outcomes for residents.
  • Building strong relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders.
  • Managing staffing, budgets, occupancy, and resources effectively.
  • Driving continuous improvement and maintaining excellent standards throughout the service.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • Experience as a Registered Manager, in care or residential homes.
  • A strong understanding of CQC regulations, inspections, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven leadership experience and the ability to inspire and develop teams.
  • Experience supporting older people, including those living with dementia.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional care and improving the lives of residents.

Qualifications

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent), or working towards it.
  • NMC Pin (desirable but not essential).
  • Evidence of continued professional development.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding, quality assurance, and care legislation.
