Job Title: Revenue Controller/Senior Manager
Our client is a high growth, global tech business undergoing a restructuring process and needs some long term interim support to cover both a reduced-capacity finance function and improve reporting, processes and controls through the period of restructure.
Responsibilities
- Lead the business unit team and others through a matrix structure where they support the controllership function
- Overseeing all business unit revenue reporting and related Balance Sheet accounts, including for Group, external analysts, and regulatory and compliance purposes
- Oversight of reported gross margin, analysis and insights, and ensuring reporting performance reflects up to date business activities
- Lead the product P&L reporting
- Review and implement new controls, ensuring integrity of reported financials
- Work with the FP&A teams to support forecasting cycles with customer and product performance analysis, including ownership for portions of the cycle
- Partner with the commercial teams to continuously improve internal management information, including the integrity of financial data within BI systems
- Drive transformation of OTC & Accounting processes, with an emphasis on automation and scalable solutions

Requirements
- Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Great problem solving skills
- Significant PQE and track record of driving growth and supporting transformation in finance functions
- Strong commercial acumen and a real aptitude for working with numbers
- Experience of using BI systems, such as Tableau or Power BI, and high volumes of financial data
- Experience in complex high volume transaction businesses e.g. Tech, Telco, Fintech, etc.
- Experience using ERPs, such as SAP, Netsuite, D365, etc.
- Familiarity with AI tools and their application in a finance context (e.g. automating reporting, data analysis, or workflow efficiency)

Compensation
The role will likely be on a FTC basis but we’re open to day rate options too, although likely inside IR35. Probably somewhere between £80-90k per annum or equivalent, and there could be a stretch for an exceptional candidate.
Additional Information
- The role is an urgent start and you need to be available within two weeks. Candidates on one month’s notice will not be considered.
- Role is predominantly remote although you will need to be able to get to London from time to time.
- Likely to be for a minimum of 12 months, maybe 15 months.
