Global Accounting Network is working with a well-renowned Hotel in London to recruit an experienced Regional Income Auditor / Revenue Specialist on an initial 3-month interim contract, starting immediately.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced hotel revenue professional to take ownership of revenue assurance, income auditing, and reconciliation activities, working closely with Finance, Revenue Management, Front Office, Sales, and Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc income and revenue audits, identifying discrepancies, errors, and potential revenue leakage.
  • Monitor and validate hotel revenue streams including rooms, F&B, and ancillary services, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform detailed revenue reconciliations and investigate variances against budgets and forecasts.
  • Review PMS, POS, and billing systems to ensure transactions are accurately recorded and internal controls are followed.
  • Identify and resolve revenue leakage, including pricing discrepancies, unrecorded revenue, missed charges, and incorrect discounts.
  • Prepare revenue assurance reports, audit findings, and balance sheet reconciliations for senior management.
  • Work closely with Revenue Management, Front Office, Reservations, Sales, F&B, and Finance teams to improve revenue capture and processes.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes in a timely manner.
  • Identify opportunities to improve revenue assurance processes, controls, systems, and reporting.

About You

  • Proven experience as an Income Auditor, Regional Income Auditor, Revenue Specialist, or similar role within the hotel sector.
  • Strong understanding of hotel revenue streams, income auditing, and revenue assurance.
  • Experience identifying discrepancies, investigating revenue leakage, and improving controls.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience working with hotel systems such as Opera Cloud, SUN, EPM, Micros Symphony, or Book4Time would be advantageous.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both Finance and operational teams.
  • Luxury or high-end hospitality experience would be highly desirable.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities.
