Interim School Finance Manager - Warwickshire

Mid-September 2026 start (latest)
Contract until February 2027
Day Rate
4 days onsite, 1 day remote

An education provider based in Warwickshire is seeking a hands-on Interim School Finance Manager to provide leadership and delivery through a key period going into the new academic year and into audits. This is a practical, delivery-focused interim assignment responsible for day-to-day finance operations and monthly reporting, supporting stakeholders across the organisation.

You'll report directly to the Finance Director and will manage a Finance Officer.

Key responsibilities:

  • Full financial accounting across the organisation
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Posting income and maintaining accurate ledgers
  • Raising invoices
  • Producing management accounts
  • Posting payroll journals/entries
  • Handling finance queries from the wider team (including coding queries)

About you

  • Education experience
  • IMP experience preferred
  • Happy to be hands-on and visible onsite
  • Finance qualification
