Autumnal Partners are supporting a leading crypto and blockchain specialist in their search for a Senior Accountant to join their CFO office on a remote basis.

Our client sits at the forefront of the blockchain and digital assets space, with a global, mission-driven remit and a fast-paced finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to broaden their exposure to fintech, digital assets and international finance operations within a genuinely global organisation.

The Role

Reporting into the Finance Manager, you'll take ownership of:

  • Preparing journal entries and supporting the wider accounting function
  • Managing month-end close, including trial balance reconciliations and P&L variance analysis
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and internal policies
  • Processing, tracking and reconciling transactions across both fiat and crypto
  • Supporting the preparation of audit and tax deliverables
  • Partnering with stakeholders across the business to improve financial and accounting processes
  • Supporting the preparation of budgets and management reporting

About You

You'll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience gained in fintech, Big 4, blockchain or crypto environments. You'll bring:

  • Strong technical expertise across FP&A, budgeting, financial reporting, international payment processing and bookkeeping
  • Familiarity with accounting software (Sage preferred), Excel and modelling tools
  • A hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility and comfort operating with ambiguity
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
