We're supporting a leading international organisation in the search for an experienced Senior Assistant Company Secretary to join its Corporate Secretariat team on a 6-month contract.
This role is suited to a hands-on governance professional with strong experience in corporate reporting, subsidiary governance, and Market Abuse Regulation (MAR) within a listed or highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support annual reporting and corporate disclosure processes.
- Provide company secretarial support across a portfolio of subsidiary entities.
- Assist with regulatory and listing compliance obligations.
- Support insider list management and MAR-related activities.
- Prepare board and committee documentation, agendas, and minutes.
- Liaise with senior stakeholders, auditors, and external advisers.
- Contribute to governance and compliance projects as required.

Essential Experience:
- Qualified Chartered Governance Professional / Chartered Secretary (or equivalent)
- Strong corporate reporting experience, including annual reporting and disclosure processes
- Working knowledge of Market Abuse Regulation (MAR) and insider list management
- Proven subsidiary governance experience
- Experience gained within a listed company or large, complex corporate environment
- Strong understanding of UK corporate governance and company law
